Spectrum Invest conducts gold trading activities with qualified and approved counterparties, including eligible buyers, traders, refiners and other participants within the precious metals sector.

Our trading activities are carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, internal compliance procedures and agreed commercial terms. We aim to maintain transparency, proper documentation and commercially sound practices throughout each transaction.

Before entering into a trading relationship, Spectrum Invest conducts appropriate Know Your Customer (KYC) and counterparty due-diligence procedures. Depending on the nature of the relationship and applicable requirements, this may include reviewing company registration documents, licences, ownership and beneficial ownership information, authorised representatives, business activities and other relevant supporting information. Where higher-risk factors are identified, additional information or enhanced due diligence may be required before a transaction is approved.

Before confirming a trade, the relevant characteristics of the gold are established. These may include: Form and description of the material, Gross and net weight, Purity or fineness, Assay results, Fine gold content, Quantity available for sale, Location and delivery requirements, Applicable commercial conditions. These details provide the basis for determining the appropriate commercial value of the transaction.

Gold pricing may be determined with reference to prevailing international gold market prices at the time or pricing point agreed between Spectrum Invest and the counterparty. The final transaction price may be adjusted according to the verified purity, assay results, quantity and form of the gold, together with any agreed premium or discount. Depending on the transaction, other factors such as refining charges, transportation, insurance, secure logistics, taxes, duties and other transaction-related expenses may also be taken into consideration.

The applicable pricing mechanism and commercial terms are agreed between Spectrum Invest and the counterparty before completion of the transaction. Where appropriate, the parties may agree on a specific price-fixing methodology, market reference, pricing date or pricing period. Once the relevant commercial conditions are agreed, the transaction is confirmed and appropriately documented.

Where the transaction value depends on the actual fine gold content, the material may be subject to weighing, testing and assay. Preliminary assay results may be used for provisional valuation, while final settlement may be adjusted according to the agreed final assay or refinery result. This helps ensure that the final commercial value reflects the actual quantity and purity of gold delivered.

Following confirmation of the applicable price, quantity and assay terms, settlement is carried out in accordance with the agreed payment conditions. Payments and receipts are processed through appropriately authorised and documented channels, subject to applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements.

Depending on the transaction, Spectrum Invest may coordinate the secure movement of gold between approved locations, counterparties, logistics providers or refineries. Relevant transportation, insurance, customs and export documentation is maintained where applicable. Appropriate controls are applied to support the secure and documented movement of the material.

Where gold is sold to international counterparties, Spectrum Invest seeks to ensure that the required commercial, customs, logistics and regulatory procedures applicable to the transaction are completed. Export transactions may involve additional documentation relating to the gold, its origin, value, assay, transportation, customs clearance and destination, depending on applicable requirements.

Spectrum Invest maintains appropriate documentation relating to its gold trading activities. Records may include counterparty KYC documentation, contracts or purchase and sale confirmations, invoices, weight records, assay reports, pricing calculations, payment records, logistics documents, customs documentation and other supporting records relevant to the transaction. Maintaining these records helps provide an appropriate audit trail from acquisition through sale and settlement.

Spectrum Invest seeks to conduct its trading activities only where the company is reasonably satisfied with the legitimacy of the counterparty and the commercial purpose of the transaction. Transactions presenting material concerns relating to source of gold, counterparty identity, documentation, sanctions exposure, money laundering, illicit activity or other significant compliance risks may be subject to enhanced review, suspended or declined. Transparent & Professional Gold Trading Through structured counterparty due diligence, transparent pricing, independent or appropriate assay procedures, documented settlement and controlled logistics, Spectrum Invest aims to provide a professional, transparent and responsible gold trading platform connecting Niger's gold supply with qualified domestic and international market participants.
