Spectrum Invest facilitates the aggregation of gold obtained from eligible and verified sources within Niger, bringing together individual quantities into commercially viable volumes suitable for further processing, sale and export.
Our aggregation process is structured to maintain traceability, transparency and appropriate documentation throughout the movement of gold from individual suppliers to the consolidated quantity.
Gold is accepted from suppliers and participants that have undergone the appropriate onboarding and due-diligence procedures applicable to the business relationship. Before aggregation, relevant information concerning the supplier, origin of the material, quantity and transaction is obtained and recorded in accordance with Spectrum Invest's internal procedures.
Each quantity of gold received is individually identified and recorded before being combined with other eligible material. Records may include the supplier's details, date of receipt, reference number, declared source, gross weight, expected purity and other information relevant to the transaction. This helps maintain an appropriate audit trail for material entering the aggregation process.
Upon receipt, the material is weighed and checked against the corresponding supplier and transaction documentation. Where applicable, preliminary testing may also be conducted to obtain an indication of purity before the material proceeds to further processing or consolidation.
Where necessary, material may initially be kept separately until the required verification, documentation, weighing and testing procedures have been completed. Material presenting significant documentation discrepancies or compliance concerns may be held for further review and is not included in the normal aggregation process until the matter has been satisfactorily addressed.
Following the required verification procedures, eligible quantities may be consolidated into larger commercially viable lots. Aggregation enables Spectrum Invest to efficiently manage material received from multiple eligible suppliers while preparing suitable volumes for subsequent assaying, refining, sale or export, depending on the requirements of the transaction.
Aggregated material may undergo further testing or assay to determine its overall purity and fine gold content. The results provide an appropriate basis for commercial valuation, refining requirements and onward transactions.
Spectrum Invest maintains appropriate records connecting aggregated quantities with the underlying supplier and transaction records. This documentation is intended to provide an identifiable trail covering the receipt, verification and consolidation of gold handled through our operations.
Once the required aggregation, verification and documentation procedures have been completed, commercially viable quantities may be prepared for onward sale, refining or export. Relevant commercial, logistics, customs and other supporting documentation is prepared as applicable to the particular transaction and destination.
Spectrum Invest seeks to ensure that gold entering its aggregation process originates from eligible sources and is supported by appropriate supplier and transaction information. Where concerns arise regarding the origin of the gold, supplier identity, documentation, sanctions exposure, potential illicit activity or other material compliance risks, the transaction may be subject to additional review, suspended or declined.
Aggregation should not mean losing visibility over the origin of individual quantities. Spectrum Invest therefore places particular importance on maintaining appropriate records for the material received and the parties involved in the supply chain. Through structured supplier verification, material identification, weighing, testing, aggregation and record keeping, Spectrum Invest aims to create an efficient and transparent process for transforming smaller eligible supplies into commercially viable quantities for the international gold market.
